Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC)

Background

The constitution of Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) has been accepted by Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA). The animal house facility of Goa University has been registered with CPCSEA for the purpose of 'Research for Education purpose on small animal'. The registration number of the animal house facility is 2104/GO/Re/S/20/CPCSEA. No in-house breeding will be undertaken by the University without prior permission from CPCSEA. Animal will be procured only from those establishments which have been registered with CPCSEA for breeding for the purpose of trade.
