Preamble:

The Department provides learning atmosphere for the participants of the courses and enables them to take up a career in Management and Entrepreneurship. It is also actively involved in the process of creating and disseminating knowledge in the area of business through its research and consultancy work.

Thrust areas:

The Department has identified its thrust area in management as interventions in small and medium enterprises with a focus on specific verticals such as Tourism, Healthcare, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship. The research focus has been on Customer Behaviours, Stress Management, Performance Management, Tourism Attractions and Financial Inclusion. The projects, research and consultancy have predominantly been in these areas.
