App Launch Ceremony & MoU Signing: Matsya Sandhana Kshetram

The official launch ceremony of Matsya Sandhana Kshetram, a Potential Fishing Zone Guidance App developed by Goa University to support the fishing communities of Goa, was held on Monday, 10 Aug 2026. The programme also marked the signing of an MoU between Goa University and the Directorate of Fisheries. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, in the presence of Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries, Government of Goa.
