Sarita Yadav, IAS, Secretary, Higher and Technical Education, Government of Nagaland, visited Goa University and held discussions with the Vice-Chancellor of Goa University on various higher education reforms undertaken by the University.
on "Positioning Goa as a Wellness Destination: Policy, Challenges and the Way Forward", organised at Goa Business School. The workshop brought together policymakers, tourism stakeholders, wellness practitioners, industry representatives and experts to deliberate on the development of Goa as a credible and competitive wellness tourism destination. The discussions covered the Goa Wellness, Ayurveda and Yoga Policy, 2026, accreditation and quality assurance, wellness tourism products, entrepreneurship, workforce development, sustainability and regulatory challenges.
Goa University and the Vibrant Goa Foundation (VGF) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), naming Goa University as an Official Institutional Partner for the upcoming Vibrant Goa Global Business Summit 2026, scheduled to take place on October 29, 30, and 31, 2026.
