The session on 'Pension Reforms in India: A Policy Perspective' was conducted by Shri Sanjay Pandey, Whole-Time Member (Finance), Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), New Delhi, Govt. of India. The session focused on providing participants with an understanding of pension reforms in India and the evolving policy framework related to pension systems.
The Career Counselling Cell (CCC), under the Directorate of Student Placement & Alumni Relations (DSPAR), in collaboration with the School of Biological Sciences & Biotechnology (SBSB) organised a workshop on "Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences: Enhancing Student Skills for Learning, Research & Innovation" on 22 Sep 2026. The workshop was conducted by Dr Nitin Sharma, Professor, Dept of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani, Goa, and Dr Rahul Pandya, Assoc. Professor, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering (EECE), IIT Dharwad, Karnataka.
Directorate of Internships, Incubation, and Industry Partnership (DI3P) and Institution Innovation Council (IIC) organized an institution-level hackathon "IDEATHON", at GURU Park, Goa University. A total of seven (7 nos.) teams, 42 students, across Goa University programmes, participated in this hackathon.
